This three-day clinic is an introduction to fly fishing. Space is limited to 25 students so we can pair each student with an individual instructor.
Day 1 is an evening class at Red Rock Brewing in Park City starting at 6 p.m. and covering tackle, entomology, reading the water and other essential subjects. Due to state liquor laws, you must be at least 21 years old to enter this venue.
Day 2 is an evening casting clinic held at the Deer Valley ponds and we provide all the gear. Casting starts at 6 p.m.
Day 3 is where you put what you have learned to work fishing one of our local rivers or lakes. As before, we will pair you with an experienced angler and provide all equipment. We’ll rendezvous at the Smith’s parking lot in Park City and carpool to the selected water. We leave at 8 a.m., so don’t be late.
The $75 fee includes membership in HCFF for the rest of the calendar year, so after you pay for the clinic, please visit our “Join HCFF” page on this website and provide your contact information so we can add you to our club roster and keep you informed about all our great activities and programs. You don’t have to pay the $30 annual donation for the year you attend the clinic.
Use the Buy Now button to sign up and pay for the clinic. You don’t need a PayPal account to purchase a spot; you can use any credit card.
